Megan Jones works from her base at Ystradgynlais, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, findinding inspiration in her immediate surroundings, but also travelling widely. During 1994, with the support of the Arts Council of Wales, she was able to study the wild rugged landscape of Newfoundland.
Her response to subject matter is expressed in strong colour and form with a sure sense of rhythm and structure, evoking a sense of place altered by light and time.
